What is Pilates?
Created nearly 100 years ago by Joseph Pilates, the Pilates Method is system of exercises designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, and posture, and enhance mental awareness.
Our Pilates teachers will offer a structured exercise programme which will build your movement skills step by step, based on the ‘Fundamentals’ of alignment, breathing and centring (Core Stability).
All our Pilates teachers are Chartered Physiotherapists and Body Control qualified so you are in the safest of hands.
What makes Body Control Different?
Body Control Pilates is renowned as the world-leading education provider for Pilates teaching.
The Body Control education curriculum is internationally renowned and the membership body for Body Control Pilates teachers is the largest professional Pilates organisation in the world.
This is not a weekend qualification!

• Joint mobility
• Improved posture
• Balance
• Co-ordination
• Bone and muscle strength
• Stamina and energy

Our Pilates class runs every Friday morning at 9.30am.
The cost is £10 per class or a block of 6 for £50.
